Leon is an accomplished operations professional and project manager with over 20 years of experience creating trusted relationships among government, major institutions, industry, and nonprofit organizations to develop projects that increase equity for underresourced communities. Leon manages the engagement strategy to create and sustain the community-based relationships necessary for identifying priorities, developing equity programs, and conducting community-driven research.

Dr. Barbara Goff received her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania and completed her residency at Harvard Medical School. After her gynecologic oncology fellowship at the Massachusetts General hospital, she joined the faculty at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. Her major research focus has been in early detection of ovarian cancer, surgical skills training, novel therapeutics, survivorship and quality outcomes research in the treatment of ovarian cancer. Dr. Goff is an active gynecologic oncologist performing surgical cases, administering chemotherapy and providing supportive care for gynecologic cancer patients. In 2017, she became the chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. As chair, Dr. Goff has focused on improving access to specialty care within the WWAMI region, developing a fetal surgery program and addressing social determinants of health that impact maternity, family planning and gynecologic care for our region.

Dr. Leslie Walker-Harding is the Ford/Morgan Endowed Professor and chair of the Department of Pediatrics as well as associate dean for the University of Washington School of Medicine. She is also the chief academic officer and senior vice president for Seattle Children’s Hospital. She has been dedicated to the health and well-being of children and adolescents for over 25 years, particularly in the area of preventing adolescent substance use and promoting healthy adolescent development. Her current focus is to raise awareness of, and bring to a national scale, evidence-based interventions to prevent substance use and mental health conditions in children and adolescents.

Dr. Woods-Jaeger’s research focuses on partnering with communities to identify programs and policies to prevent adverse childhood experiences, support different systems in understanding and responding to the needs of trauma-exposed youth and families, and improve access to culturally responsive, evidence-based psychological interventions for youth and families exposed to trauma and chronic stress. She is currently leading initiatives focused on utilizing a participatory arts approach to promote mental health among youth, families, and communities.

Dr. Woods-Jaeger received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington and completed her post-doctoral training at the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health as a Kellogg Health Scholar.
